TESTIMONIALS
“Alisa has great camera presence. She’s open, very honest and is not afraid to show her emotions. It’s obvious she’s passionate about what she does.”
—KARLIE POULIOT, Fox News Channel New York
“Every once in a while I’d like an interview to be easy. I’d like the guest to be prepared, knowledgable, funny, smart and quick. I’d like my interview to go smoothly with a rapid fire give and take that’s fun for me and interesting for my listeners. I’d like the audience to hang on every word, sitting on the edge of their seats wondering what’s coming next. Alisa Bowman is that interview. She is terrific and she makes me look good. The audience loves her, they learn from her and they connect with her passion, honesty and humanity. She’s one in a million.“
“As a producer in the fast-paced world of Cable TV, I often find myself in the field with many challenges including inexperienced or nervous interview subjects. I was overjoyed to meet and work with Alisa Bowman who showed no fear of the camera. Alisa was incredibly articulate and comfortable in her role as storyteller. Her interview made our Discovery Special a success. She’s a natural!”
—Lauren Levine, Field Producer, Discovery Health Channel

ABOUT PROJECT HAPPILY EVER AFTER
In Project: Happily Ever After Alisa Bowman bravely tells the story of how she went from wishing her husband dead to renewing her wedding vows. Her four-month project was a last ditch effort to save a marriage that many—her friends, her colleagues and even her own mother—had written off as hopeless.
It’s a fearlessly honest account of all of the topics that unhappily married people and the counselors who try to help them are too scared and guilt-ridden to discuss. From dry spells to bikini waxes, romance instruction manuals to second honeymoons, the silent treatment to power struggles, she goes were many marriage improvement experts have feared to tread.
Equal parts funny, poignant, and helpful, the book offers other divorce daydreamers courage and hope—as well as a 10-step plan they can follow to start their own marriage projects at home.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Roughly 72 percent of married women have considered divorce, but stay married regardless. More than half say they are bored in bed. The most unhappily married—and the primary readership for the book—are age 30-55 and the parents of children who are still at home. Most marriages experience stress around year 7, during the midlife crisis years, or after the birth of a child.
