Alissa… I love this video. Everything you said in here are things I firmly believe, especially the concept that my husband won’t know what I need if I don’t speak up. And I 100% agree with you about your view regarding when people tell you they never fight. Never fighting tells me people aren’t dealing. Thank you for being so honest and open about marriage and that it is work and it isn’t like Hollywood shows us.

Actually would you believe my first wife & I, up until the last year or so, never fought. But that’s because we didn’t talk much either. Really enjoyed the speech.

See that’s the key you guys didn’t talk much and therefore didn’t have much to argue about.. Still I think it is better to argue and communicate then to be silent… I’ve noticed that fighting can bring about good changes if worked through and that’s always a good thing. Communication is always key.
