I remember when you first posted this five part series about your life, and I loved it then--I still do! I probably wasn't one of your first readers, but I remember reading this blog quite early on! It's so neat to have seen in grow and grow--and evolve into an entire book! I did not tell him about it in a "see! this is how rotten I think you are!" but rather as a statement of how miserable I was. I think that was the main difference. I'd told him that I was miserable before, but this one talk made such a huge difference in our relationship (in a positive way) that it caused me to doubt the need to ever hold back for the sake for worrying about hurting someone's feelings.
