Took great pleasure in reading every single word and it caused me to “Look to the Good” just that much more! You are exactly correct in how most just want more stuff. I just spoke with my Daddy/79 year old full time practicing Veterinary Surgeon in California who reminded me to get back to the basics.

We play games – Trouble, Sorry, Old Maid, Uno – our kids are having fun playing the games we grew up on.

Read – turn the tv OFF, grab a stack of books and read to each other. Our daughter is learning to read and is very proud of her new ability to read to her younger brother.

Now that weather is warm, we head to our local parks more where we inevitably run into classmates for added fun!

Love that positive attitude!! Was a bright spot – thanks!

So good…exactly what I needed to read today. You kind of said this in a number of ways, but not overtly – I’d add ‘Creativity’ – you simply have to be more creative, think in new ways, hatch more plans, be more ballsy and REALLY go after what you want. I mean, what is there to lose?

I’ve stopped using shopping as recreation. That sounds incredibly shallow, but I grew up thinking Saturday afternoons were for shopping.

I’ve learned to stay positive and look for what’s good in a situation. Watching other people go through this and struggle, I’ve seen such a huge difference attitude makes.
