Inappropriate Laughter Day
I used to think I was the only wife who thought her husband did too little around the house. I also thought my husband was the only man who tried to convince his 4-year-old daughter that a Formula One car race was a much more interesting television viewing option than, say, the Transformers.
Now, thanks to my virtual friend Gerald Weber, of Search Engine Marketing Group, I know I’m one of many.
You see, Gerald is virtual friends with me in many places, including StumbleUpon. And we’re at that stage in our friendship when we can be very honest with each other. For instance, I noticed that Gerald’s Facebook profile lists him as interested in a relationship. I decided to help him out a bit and let him know that his avatar depicting him with his tongue sticking out just wasn’t very flattering. I also didn’t think chicks would dig his StumbleUpon ID, which is SuperFreak69. He’s since changed the photo, but not the ID.
These are the kind of things tight virtual friends are known to do for each other, you know? And, despite the whole Super Freak thing, he’s seriously harmless. Even if you don’t want to date him, consider friending him on StumbleUpon!
In return for my gestures of goodwill, Gerald frequently sends me links to the most inappropriately funny sites on the Internet, including today’s video. (Caveat: today’s video is one of the tamer things he’s sent to me).
A big thanks also goes to My Favorite Technical Wizard Parker Morse for overhauling my site to widen this blogging column. Until today, I could not embed video, because the videos were wider than my column of space. Now, I can. Please send heaps of virtual good karma to Parker. Or, if you know him through Facebook, poke him.
